The website Pagesix.com revealed on Friday the circumstances of the death of the 53-year-old star.

Arriving at the scene of the tragedy around 11:01 a.m. that morning, firefighters realized that a person was trapped in the burning vehicle, believing it to be the owner of the house, Lynne Mishele. At 11:18 a.m., authorities believed there was no one else in the car. It was only around 11:25 a.m. that they saw Anne Heche through the smoke. She was then on the floor of the car and it was difficult to reach. It was only around 11:49 a.m. that they managed to extricate the actress from the cabin, and she was still alive.

She suffered brain damage caused by anoxia, which led to her death. His death was pronounced a week following the tragedy.

Anne Heche did not hide her mental health problems, following having been sexually abused by her father during her childhood. At the time of the accident, she had used cocaine. That’s what blood tests showed.

Anne Heche was the mother of a 20-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy.
