Anne Heche is still in a coma four days following her car accident on Friday.

The star of Six days, seven nights was involved in a car accident on Friday, in which her MINI Clubman crashed at full speed into a house in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, starting a fire in the property. A rep initially said she was being treated for her burns in hospital and was in stable condition.

However, another representative revealed in a statement on Monday that she had actually been in critical condition and in a coma since the accident. “Over the weekend, a rep said Anne was in stable condition, but that information was inaccurate. She still remained in critical condition, falling into a coma following the accident, a spokesperson told multiple media outlets. She has a significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgery. She is currently being treated at the Grossman Burn Center.”

Los Angeles police confirmed to CNN on Monday that the 53-year-old star is being investigated for impaired driving and hit-and-run. Investigators obtained a warrant to draw blood from the actress the day of the incident and are still awaiting results. Once the investigation is complete, the case will be referred to the LA City Attorney’s Office.

Video footage obtained by TMZ appears to show Anne Heche’s vehicle crashing into a garage at an apartment complex before reversing and driving off. This incident is said to have occurred shortly before the second accident.

Since the accident, Alec Baldwin and Peter Facinelli have publicly shared their wishes for recovery. Peter Facinelli, who starred alongside him in 13 Minuteswrote regarding his stories Instagram: “I pray for you and your beautiful family.”
