Anna Shcherbakova: “Doctors say that the operation was successful. Thanks to everyone who worried and supported” – Figure Skating

Olympic champion Anna Shcherbakova told how her surgery went.

The skater had a torn posterior horn of the meniscus. She was operated on in Germany.

“Today I had an operation. Of course, I was worried, but the doctors say that everything went well.

Thank you to everyone who cared and supported. And special thanks to our figure skating federation for helping and taking care of my health, ”said Shcherbakova.

Why does Shcherbakova operate on her knee only before the season? It looks like she didn’t plan to compete – although she skated 22 shows in a month.
