This Time It Happened: Anne Ziv’s Wedding – Just in Time to Avoid Aliens!
Dear readers, gather ‘round for a tale that is perhaps more dramatic than your average soap opera episode, and trust me, no one quite expected the *real-life* fireworks that accompanied Anne Ziv’s wedding. After all, who knew that a missile attack could really knock “tie the knot” to new heights? Quite literally!
So, our hero (or heroine, to be precise) Anne Ziv, network anchor and retired reality star, finally decided to take the plunge and marry her partner Yaniv Weiss. They’d only spent a glorious year and a half together, and by “glorious,” I mean as glorious as it can be when you’re dodging missiles. That’s not your standard bridesmaid’s advice, I’m sure — “Be sure to bring some anti-ballistic missile insurance to the wedding!”
From Bang to ‘I Do’
The couple was all set to say “I do” on October 1 before the air went from “I love you” to “I *WHAT*?” when, surprise, surprise, the Iranian missiles decided they wanted a rusty old wedding too. But fear not! After a thrilling change of plans reminiscent of a tactical war game, Anne and Yaniv got back on the horse — or should I say the “bestie brigade”? Because who else to accompany our lovely bride on her postponed wedding day but the fabulous Jordan Wiesel, her former competition on “Race to the Million” — talk about a reunion of epic proportions! They didn’t only compete for a million; they’re competing now for who throws the best wedding shindig!
1000 Guests and Counting!
And what a shindig it turned out to be! Hosted at the charming Ronit Farm (I hope the animals didn’t mind sharing the spotlight), it was a gathering of over 1,000 invited guests — because when you’re in the industry, nobody can quite do a modest wedding, can they? Among the VIP attendees were the likes of Bar Sommer and Kim Or Azoulai. You know, the usual suspects you’d expect at a high-profile wedding… right after a war!
And what’s a wedding without a touch of suspense? The couple managed to transform a potential disaster into a grand statement of resilience. They first considered splitting the event into two parts — because who wouldn’t want a wedding that felt more like crowd control at a music festival? Yet, after the situation took a dramatic turn, they opted for an event when it could truly shine — unlike my attempts at karaoke after a few too many cocktails.
Love Blooms, Even in Troubling Times
In the end, Anne and Yaniv’s love story is one of perseverance. They got engaged during a dreamy getaway in Mauritius — a far cry from the flares in the sky! So let’s raise a glass (or a missile-proof champagne flute) to their new journey together. Good luck and only good vibes to the newlyweds! Just keep an eye out for the sky, alright?
This time it happened: Network anchor and retired reality star Anne Ziv married last night (Sunday) to her partner of the past year and a half, Yaniv Weiss, after they had to postpone their original wedding date just moments before the start of the event – following the Iranian missile attack.
After Ann recovered from the dramatic turn on the day of the wedding, a new date was of course set – and the person who accompanied the bride on her wedding day is none other than the bestie Jordan Wiesel, with whom she competed in the show “Race to the Million” in the sixth season, while the one who put Ziv into the wedding ceremony is Yuval Dayan.
The exciting event took place at Ronit Farm and as someone who has attended every possible wedding in the past year, you will not be surprised to find out that over 1,000 people were invited, many of them from the industry of course. Among the guests were the members Bar Sommer, Lial Eli, Maya Kay, Neta Barzani and Kim Or Azoulai.

As you remember, Anne Winiv were supposed to get married on October 1, but the Iranian missile attack disrupted their plans. At first they planned to change the nature of the event and split it into two parts according to the directives of the Home Front Command, with 300 other guests of the couple arriving each time. As soon as the situation worsened the two decided to postpone to quieter times – and now the celebration finally happened.
Ann Viniv got engaged last January during a couple’s vacation in Mauritius. The 30-year-old Weiss is the son of Yoel from the Weiss Group, a very well-known family in the world of real estate and business. Good luck and only good news to the newlyweds!
