If they are powerful, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13 “M1 are also afflicted with a limitation on the number of external screens that can be connected to them: only one. This can however be of a good level comfort since in 6K with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
This is certainly enough for a very large part of the users targeted by these entry/mid-range laptops, but Anker is aimed at those who need more: up to 3 screens at the same time.
Do not hope to line up 3 6K or even 4K screens in front of you, these will be lower definitions or with concessions on the refresh rate. However, the proposed combinations may be quite suitable. There are two HDMIs in 4K and 2K and a DisplayPort socket in 2K. In a maximum configuration, the hub will be able to drive a 4K – but at 30 Hz – flanked by two 2K screens at 60 Hz (2,560x 1,440).
The role of the Dock Station 563 USB-C does not stop there, a whole slew of ports are ready to use. We have a main power port that charges at 100W, a Gigabit Ethernet socket, a mini-jack audio input/output, a USB-C 3.1 Power Delivery (30 W), a USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 (7.5 W) and a classic USB-A 2.0. This accessory from Anker should cost around 250 € once marketed with us, this is the price in Germany.
