Ankara rejects Pelosi’s comments during Armenia visit

Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay confirmed his country’s rejection of the statements of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, during her visit to Armenia.

Oktay said, through his Twitter account, today, Monday, “The statements are never acceptable Pelosi that are inconsistent with historical and current facts, are completely far from good intentions, reflect a biased view, and are likely to sabotage diplomatic endeavors.”

And demanded Oktay US administration Certainly, Pelosi’s statements were made in greed for the voices of the Armenian community, and some of its politicians supported by the (Armenian) lobby regarding the Karabakh issue, and they do not reflect the official American viewpoint.

Oktay called on all international actors to act responsibly, prudently and justly at a time when there is an urgent need for lasting peace and stability in the region.

He stressed that Turkey will continue to stand firmly by Azerbaijan, which has struggled to liberate its lands, which were brutally occupied for 30 years.
