The king of the oud, who delighted art lovers and continues to sing even following his death, Farid al-Atrash, who began his artistic career in Egypt and starred in 31 films, sang the words of giant poets and composed a melody for many Arab artists and artists.

Akher Sa’a magazine celebrated the tenth anniversary of Farid Al-Atrash’s death, as he allowed Awad Ibrahim, one of the cardiologists who was treating Farid Al-Atrash, to talk regarding him, and the magazine published it on January 4th.

One of the doctors who treated Al-Atrash stated, in a magazine in 1984, that he was a stubborn person and was resisting the moaning of his heart, despite all the doctors’ advice to him not to move, but he was a lot of movement and insisted on singing on the stage.

Anin Farid was not only because of his illness, but because of the love of his life, and despite his love, he was running away from marriage, especially if the marriage was to an artist.

He controlled Farid as a prince of the royal family, and he had a heart attack when the news agencies reported that he would marry Queen Nariman, and Nariman’s mother denied and said how to degrade Nariman to the level of a singer.

She said that Farid was visiting the family only to sing, and Farid was sad following Nariman’s mother’s statements, and he suffered a serious heart attack, and published on the pages of Al-Jeel magazine a letter addressed to Nariman’s mother defending the artist’s dignity.

The doctor says that he committed Farid al-Atrash for years and was aware of his love for a famous artist, and when Farid made a proposal to marry her, she rejected him and said that she saw him as a friend and brother and did not see him as a lover or a husband.

And upon Farid’s departure, he kept her picture with the small Quran that he did not leave. Farid was born on April 21, 1917, and died on December 26, 1974.
