Animal lovers organization advocates for the freedom of the hornet in Supreme Court

The Walking Eye Foundation for Animal Advocacy, an organization of animal lovers, has filed a stay petition in the Supreme Court once morest the state government’s petition regarding the rehabilitation of Arikomban. The government is seeking to hear the organization’s arguments before issuing an interim order on the petition. The animal lovers’ organization is concerned that the government is trying to remove the rice plant from the forest. Lawyer John Mathew filed the stay petition, and Senior Advocate V. Chidambaresh will represent the organization in the Supreme Court. The organization has no objection to relocating Arikompan to Parambikulam but demands that Arikomban be allowed to live freely in the forest. Additionally, the organization will request that the Supreme Court take action once morest resorts in Kerala’s elephant camps, similar to the action taken by the Supreme Court once morest elephant resorts in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris.

New Delhi: A stay petition in the Supreme Court once morest the state government’s petition in the case related to the rehabilitation of Arikomban. An organization of animal lovers called ‘Walking Eye Foundation for Animal Advocacy’ has filed a stay petition in the Supreme Court. The government wants to hear their arguments before passing an interim order on the petition.

The state government is approaching the Supreme Court stating that it is difficult to implement the High Court verdict, Forest Minister A.K. Saseendran had clarified the other day. The government has also decided to ask the Supreme Court to allow action under the wildlife protection department in the case of harmful wild animals. The animal lovers’ organization is concerned that the government is trying to remove the rice plant from the forest.

The stay petition was filed by lawyer John Mathew. Senior Advocate V. Chidambaresh will appear in the Supreme Court on behalf of the organization.
