After the controversy, the Animal Freedom Coalition conducted an interview with a KBS official to confirm the truth regarding the incident and prevent recurrence. According to this, KBS responded that it would come up with measures to guarantee the welfare of animals at the filming site following collecting opinions from experts and following internal discussion. The Animal Welfare Association will ‘create new content on animal welfare in the broadcasting guidelines’, ‘form an animal filming ethics committee including animal protection experts such as animal groups’, ‘participate animal welfare experts in the KBS viewers’ committee’ requested etc.

Previously, ‘Taejong Lee Bang-won’ was heavily criticized for a video in which a rope was wrapped around the horse’s ankle during filming and forcibly knocked down. In the end, the production team of ‘Taejong Lee Bang-won’ bowed their heads and apologized repeatedly. However, as it became known that the horse died following filming, it became the center of controversy.
