Two adult men were apprehended, on the night of this Saturday to this Sunday, September 25, by the police officers of the BAC of Albi with seven hedgehogs probably intended to go to the pan.
Intrigued by the carousel of two men in a van parked in the center of Albi, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, the police officers of the BAC of Albi decided to carry out a check.
The two men seemed to want to hide something… Inside the vehicle, there were no narcotics and even fewer weapons. While searching, the police get their hands on… seven hedgehogs! It would seem that small insectivorous mammals were destined to go to the pan.
Placed in custody
The problem for the two gourmets is that since a decree dating from 1981, the hedgehog is a protected species in France. Apprehended, the two men, adults, were placed in police custody before being released with a summons to appear in court for the month of February.
As for the seven hedgehogs, escaping the disastrous fate of the barbecue, they were released into the wild.
