ANIES Baswedan hopes to get more support from political parties (parpol) to advance in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
“We hope that we will be able to work together with more other parties,” said Anies after officially receiving support from NasDem at the NasDem Tower, Jakarta, Monday (22/7), as reported by Between..
For information, Anies has received support from the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and the NasDem Party to advance in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
On the other hand, he admitted that he was given the task of finding a partner as a potential candidate for deputy governor of Jakarta.
However, Anies said he had established communication between political parties.
“We have heard that those who have declared before, first is PKB, second is PKS and we have had discussions,” he said. “NasDem has also had discussions with other parties which we hope we can expand further,” he continued.

Anies also promised to carry out the mandate given to him by NasDem as best as possible.
He accepted the mandate and promised to fight for the good of the people of Jakarta.
“We accept the mandate entrusted by the NasDem Party and we will uphold it as best as we can with the utmost respect and will fight together as best we can for the people of Jakarta, the impact of which, God willing, can be felt by all,” concluded Anies.
Previously, the NasDem Party officially gave its support to Anies Baswedan as a gubernatorial candidate in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada. This was conveyed by NasDem Secretary General Hermawi Taslim.
