ANIES Baswedan and his wife, Ferry Farhati, mourned the late Marissa Haque at the funeral home in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang, Wednesday (2/10). Anies expressed his condolences and feelings of loss for the death of Marissa Haque.
“We all feel lost due to the death of Mrs. Marissa Haque. Throughout his life, his dedication to his profession was extraordinary. Always serious. A family of artists who not only create art but also care about social issues and care about the political process. “Showing that his life is a life that provides benefits,” said Anies Baswedan when met at the funeral home in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang, Wednesday (2/10).
Anies was shocked by the news of Marissa Haque’s sudden death. He and his family also prayed that Marissa Haque would die in a state of khusnul khotimah and be given the best by God.
“I conveyed to Mas Ikang, to the children too, this is not an easy test. The Indonesian nation feels the loss of one of the nation’s best children who worked in the cultural and social fields of society. “Hopefully my wife and I can continue,” said Anies.
During the last presidential election, Anies was quite close to Chiki Fawzi, Marissa Haque’s son. Chiki also campaigned for Anies Baswedan’s vision when he was a presidential candidate. (Z-9)
