Article 1.-
Repeal of Law No. 31399 Repeal Law No. 31399, Law that strengthens the process of approval of constitutional reform laws regulated in articles 40 and 44 of Law 26300, Law on the rights of citizen participation and control.
Article 2.-
Modification of articles 40 and 44 of Law No. 26300, Law on the Rights of Citizen Participation and Control Articles 40 and 44 of Law No. 26300 are modified according to the following text:
“Article 40. The matters and rules referred to in the second paragraph of Article 32 of the Constitution may not be submitted to a referendum.
Article 44.- The call for a referendum corresponds to the electoral authority within a period not greater than four months after the respective initiatives have been accredited”
