This may be the end of the bad news for the SCO. Freshly relegated to Ligue 2, the Angevins received good news from the Arbitrary Court of Sport. The latter accepted the suspension of the recruitment ban imposed by FIFA, pending a final decision.
Angers had been suspended from recruitment by FIFA for the next two transfer windows last April. This sanction was due to an imbroglio around the transfer of Ilyes Chetti in the summer of 2022.
