The Show Must Go On? Angelina Mango’s Health Comes First!

So, what do we have here? Our darling diva, Angelina Mango, has decided to hit the brakes on her autumn tours across Italy and Europe—not because she’s suddenly discovered a love for knitting, but due to health reasons! You see, she’s been battling with a rather inconvenient case of rhinopharyngitis! Yes, that’s right! Rhinopharyngitis! Sounds like a fancy Italian dish that you wouldn’t order on your first date because it might just knock you out! But I digress…

The Young Artist Thanks Her Fans for Their Love

In her own melodious words, Angelina expressed her gratitude to her fans, saying, “I have to stop because I want to take care of myself by putting my health first.” Now, that’s what I call a responsible pop star. Who knew being famous didn’t come with a perpetual energy supply? It’s a lovely sentiment, really, until you realize that she’s just avoiding the inevitable “Can you do the dance and sing at the same time?” question. Honestly, I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time!

Rhinopharyngitis—The Diva’s Worst Enemy!

Coming back to the health scare, it seems our Angelina found herself in quite the pickle. She took to Instagram to update her fans, saying she decided it was “not the time to be stubborn.” What a revelation! A pop star prioritizing health over profits? Next, you’ll tell me Elvis didn’t like peanut butter and banana sandwiches!

She’s had a splendid year, winning over hearts after her stints on Amici di Maria De Filippi, clinching top spots at Sanremo Festival 2024, and representing Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing seventh. Not too shabby for a young star! But it seems even the most glamorous can have moments when their voice decides to do a disappearing act—all that singing must be exhausting!

From a Golden Year to a Health Detour

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the accomplishments: her album Poké Melodrama hit number one on the FIMI charts! And she’s been releasing hits faster than I can binge-watch a season of my favorite show. Yet here we are; the artist behind songs like Want to Live and We’ll Think About It Tomorrow is now contemplating her future in health, not just her chart positions. Talk about a plot twist in a musical! Someone pass the popcorn, please!

So while her heartfelt thank-you to fans might not include live concerts for the moment, let’s hope she takes this time to rest, recover, and come back stronger than ever. I suggest a little Netflix, bubble baths, and maybe… just maybe, skip the rhinopharyngitis!

Thank you, Angelina, for reminding us that sometimes, the best way to be a star is to put yourself first. Now, if only I could do the same when it comes to my skincare routine!

The Italian tour and the European tour of Angelina Mango scheduled for this autumn are for now canceled for health reasons: “I started this tour with the best intentions, I was very happy to return to play live with you and the concerts in Rome and Naples filled my heart – declared the artist – the last few days I have been forced to postpone the next dates due to my voice which I have not yet managed to recover and now is the time to listen to myself”.

Angelina continued: “I have to stop because I want to take care of myself by putting my health first and because I want to be not only my voice, but also that of all of you. For this reason, together with my team, I have decided that for now I cannot continue my live shows. I love you very much and I thank you already for the affection that I know I will receive in these days”.

In May the artist released the album Poké melodrama reached first place in the FIMI rankings. In September the artist launched For two like us in duet with Olly also winning a gold record; among the most loved songs of the singer’s record we certainly find Want to live, We’ll think about it tomorrow, What do I tell you to do e Melodrama.
