MEXICO CITY.- Internet users reported early on the fall of one of the sculptures that surrounds the Angel of Independence in the Mexico City.
Through social networks A video was broadcast of a golden sculpture, broken and lying on the ground in the vicinity of the monument in the Paseo de la Reforma avenue.

Does sculpture of the Angel of Independence fall? This happened
While the famous Angel of Independence remains intact and at the top of the monument, a gold-colored sculpture, like those surrounding the pillar, was seen on the ground and damaged after an apparent fall.
However, it is not some structure of the capital’s Angel.
“The fallen sculpture is not part of those surrounding the Angel of Independence, it is for filming a movie,” the capital government clarified.
