FORMER Indonesian swimmer Andy Wibowo collaborated with sports equipment brand Ortuseight to create a new series of running shoes called Solar, which has taken a number of runners to national and international events.
Andy in his official statement, Friday (12/7), said that the main focus and principle of these shoes is to help the performance of the runner who wears them.
“We are really serious and all in in developing this shoe. Fellow runners will feel a different sensation, so far the best of the local brand shoes on the market and I even think the quality can compete with international brands,” said Andy.
Andy himself is a former swimmer who represented Indonesia at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Andy has been actively achieving various achievements including participation in the PTO Asian Open Singapore 2023, and the Ironman World Championship 2017, 2018 and 2023.
Andy started joining as the Ortuseight brand ambassador in early 2023 and immediately collaborated with Ortuseightrunning to create “Solar”.
Meanwhile, Ortuseight also launched the latest color variants to complete the series of these running shoes.

“Weighing 198 grams in size 42, a heel-toe drop of 8 mm, Ultra Responsive cushioning, Solar, which is available in sizes 37 to 46, will release two new attractive colors,” said PT Vita Nova Atletik representative Ayu Putri Wulandari.
“The two colors are Pistachio Ortrange and Peach Aqua,” he said.
Furthermore, a number of runners who wore these shoes, including Hari Rohman and Mike Trees, have successfully completed international running events such as the Sungailiat Triathlon and Ironman 70.3 Da Nang Vietnam.
These shoes are equipped with a number of technologies in them such as Cirrostratus foam, carbon plate between the two foams, upper made of monomesh, and Ort-Shox, QuickFit, OrtStrap, and OrtFlow features.
