Andy Rivera’s ‘Moncler’ Voted Favorite New Music Latin Poll

Andy Rivera’s “Moncler” has topped this week’s new music Latin poll.

In a poll published on Friday (Sept. 6) — in support of the weekly New Music Latin roundup and playlist, curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Spanish editors — music fans voted for the Colombian urban star’s newest tune as their favorite music release of the week.

“Moncler,” named after the Italian designer brand, generated more than 87% of the vote, beating out other new releases that dropped that week, including new studio albums by Nicky Jam (Insomnia), Jhayco (Le Clique: Rockstar Life (X)) and PJ Soleless (Every era has its charm), among others.

Coming in second place was Nicky Jam’s sixth studio album, followed by Natti Natasha’s “Tu Loca,” a bachata produced by Romeo Santos.

Co-produced by Hache and Nyal, and co-written by Rivera and Stiven Rojas, the romantic reggaetón with futuristic elements finds Rivera head-over-heels with a special lady. “Today I woke up desiring you/ baby you have me counting the hours/ to make you company in your bed/ what should we do? answer the phone/ the night is cold and I’m your Moncler,” he chants.

In an aesthetic music video directed by PipeProd, Rivera is seen flirting and dancing with a blonde model as they both cozy up in the Moncler puffer jackets.

In last week’s New Music Latin poll, music fans crowned Sebastian Yatra’s “Los Domingos” as the winner bringing in more than 70% of the vote. See the final results of this week’s new music Latin poll below.
