Andy Murray strengthens Novak Djokovic: ‘Not good for tennis when he’s not playing’

“Novak Djokovic’s decision has consequences that he obviously has to accept. But I don’t think it’s good for tennis if our best player doesn’t take part in the big tournaments,” Murray said at a press conference currently ongoing ATP tournament in Dubai.

Djokovic recently announced that he would continue to refrain from vaccination once morest the corona virus – which significantly limits the choice of tournaments for the veteran.

“I have no choice at the moment and will have to play by the rules.” However, Djokovic wants to take full advantage of the limited offer: “No matter what tournament I can play, I will try to come to the country and play the tournament.”
