These ‘vampire’ apps, as they are often called, they drain the energy of our Android device by staying open in the background. That is, despite the fact that we have closed them, continue to be used without us noticing and at all times.

Have you ever wondered how WhatsApp or Instagram send you notifications if you have the app closed? Simple, they are in a background use, so even though you have closed them, they continue to work to notify you of the news you have configured. The problem comes when they are apps that we do not usually use much, because they are consuming for no reason. Although most current smartphones are designed so that these applications do not consume much, it is better if we simply do not have them activated anywhere.

In addition to this, we have tools that are constantly working, but we don’t need to use them every moment, like GPS or Bluetooth. However, only in older versions they usually consume a lot of battery.
