Correios inaugurates new center to speed up delivery of international parcels
Correios inaugurated a new unit responsible for processing international orders in Valinhos, in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
According to the state-owned company, the Valinhos International Center is the first outside a capital and has the capacity to receive 60,000 orders per day. This unit should also be used to distribute cargo arriving in Brazil through the international airports of Viracopos, in Campinas, and São Paulo, in Guarulhos.
The new unit has already started operating and promises to relieve the dreaded distribution center for international orders that operates in the city of Curitiba, while also speeding up the delivery of everything that passes through the centers of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The Post Office also points out that the new location is serviced by the Federal Revenue Service and Ibama to speed up the customs clearance process. However, the center must primarily act as an intermediary in the parcel delivery process.
Motorola Moto G14 homologated by Anatel with 4,850 mAh battery
The Motorola Moto G14 was homologated by Anatel. This means that the new affordable smartphone might be officially launched in Brazil soon.
According to preliminary data from the regulatory agency, the Moto G14 is a 4G dual-SIM only device and its battery has a capacity of 4,850 mAh, which is usually marketed as 5,000 mAh.
For now, Motorola Brasil is silent on when the Moto G14 will go official. Even so, rumors say that this device still has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a rate of 90 Hz, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of memory and a 50 MP main camera.
Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro: line may have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 90W load and even bigger cameras
The official launch of the Xiaomi 14 line is still far away, but new information regarding the flagships was leaked this week.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 should have a variant with up to 1 TB of internal storage and 50W wireless charging.
In addition, the devices must be announced with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, cameras with even larger sensors, but with a resolution of 50 MP. Already the telephoto sensor promises to deliver optical zoom above 3 times.
Of course, all will be Leica certified. For now, Xiaomi has not commented on the matter.
ASUS ROG Ally portable console officially arrives in Brazil
The ASUS ROG Ally portable console was launched in the Brazilian market to compete with the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck.
For this, ROG Ally has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It also comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, which allows you to experience Full HD games with extreme ease.
The display even supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz compatible with FreeSync Premium, a technology that significantly improves the experience in games that support the feature.
The new ASUS ROG Ally costs BRL 7,000 on the manufacturer’s official website and those who pay in cash get a 10% discount.
Apple may postpone the launch of the iPhone 15 line due to production problems
New rumors say that Apple may delay the launch of the iPhone 15 line due to problems in the production of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.
According to people who work in the company’s supply chain, this might cause the presentation of the devices to change from the traditional month of September to October.
And this might all be happening because Foxconn has allegedly discovered that some LG-manufactured displays are defective. That is, something that urgently needs to be fixed.
In any case, in the worst case scenario, Apple may even present the iPhone 15 line in September so as not to lose tradition. But the company may delay the availability of the Pro models.
iPhone 15 may use new battery technology to increase capacity and charge up to 40W
According to more recent information, Apple may follow Samsung in using batteries that have stacked cells in the iPhone 15 or iPhone 16 line.
If the rumor comes true, the new battery technology can justify the long-awaited increase in capacity for all members of the iPhone 15 line. This information has been circulating for some time in the leak channels, and only stacking guarantees a significant improvement in energy density.
Another positive point of stacking includes more efficient heat dissipation and this is something that can be used by Apple to increase the fast charging capacity of the iPhone line.
With this, rumors indicate that the wired load can reach 40W, while the wireless option is at 20W. However, it is still too early to bet that this increase should already happen in the iPhone 15 line.
Instagram CEO says Android is better than iOS
The head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, caused controversy this week by claiming that Android is better than iOS. The executive did not go into detail when making this comment on the Threads social network.
Mosseri decided to comment on a joke by a youtuber who asked his followers what are the most controversial opinions in the world of technology.
As the executive did not speak further on the subject, this left room for all kinds of interpretations. Some say Mosseri thinks Android is better because Instagram can’t track users on iOS.
Others say that the executive likes Android because the system is free from Apple’s shackles. However, there are those who also question the executive’s supposed love for the little green robot system.
That’s because Instagram is not well optimized for Android and using the app’s native camera on some phones brings lower results than the iPhone.
