The actor said that the first day of filming almost gave him a heart attack.
The artist recalled that at first he was very nervous during filming. He clarified that the start of work on the project was stressful for him, and he even thought regarding ending his career.
Andrey Ilyin on the air of the program “Hi, Andrey!” on the TV channel “Russia” frankly told that he wanted to leave the series “Sklifosovsky” following the first day of filming. Ilyin joked that the beginning of work on the project was the most tragic episode in his life. The People’s Artist played the role of surgeon Gennady Krivitsky in the series.

Ilyin admitted that the problems started during the first take. His hero needed to do a CT scan of a boy. However, the actor might not manage to spread the sheet on which the patient was supposed to lie. “I bring the boy where they do CT. That device is there. It is necessary to spread a sheet, put it on this table, press a button, and it must go into this apparatus. It all started with a bed sheet. The first take – I take this sheet, I start to spread it, but it is synthetic, it does not spread. And this is the first take, the first scene. This is my first time on screen in this series. Around colleagues who, of course, look closely at you, the director, producers, cameramen, illuminators – and that’s it! And I can’t“, – recalled the artist.
In subsequent takes, the actor also had problems – he forgot the words, the device did not work, his partner might not remember his line either. Ilyin began to get nervous, because he took all the failures on the set personally. After a while, this situation began to piss off the director of the series. Yulia Krasnova. “We all know the character of Yulia Vladimirovna, our wonderful director, who starts to get nervous because the schedule is collapsing,” the artist said. According to him, by the tenth take, it began to seem to him that the shooting for him would end in a heart attack or he would leave the acting profession. However, following a while, as Andrey Epifanovich admitted, he managed to join the process.

In the same issue, Ilyin recalled his childhood, which he spent with his grandparents in the village Larionovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region. About my grandmother Alexandra Ivanovna the artist speaks with particular warmth. According to him, she was an amazing storyteller and sang well. The oldest resident was invited to the studio of the program the village, which personally knew the relatives of the actor – 86 years old Anastasia Ivanovna Abramova. Ilyin admitted that he did not expect such a surprise. A neighbor reminded the artist that his grandmother had a twin sister. According to him, for a long time he did not even know regarding her. “And the grandmother lies, excuse me, in a coffin, she died. There is a prayer service, they bury her, candles, everyone is in mourning. The door opens, and suddenly … grandmother enters. The same plump, one to one – her twin sister. She lived somewhere 20-30 km from our village. Amazingly, there was such a case, ”the actor shared.
The actor also added that he would definitely come to his native village in the near future. Ilyin noted that this is a very memorable place for him, since the graves of his relatives are located there.
