Romanian criminal case
It is not the first time for former kickboxer Andrew and Tristan Tate that they have come into contact with the police and the judiciary. They were previously held in Romania for a few months on suspicion of rape, human trafficking and participation in a criminal organization. After a few months in prison, their pre-trial detention was converted into house arrest before the brothers were allowed to await their trial in freedom.
In the same case, the Romanian Public Prosecution Service decided to confiscate all the brothers’ expensive possessions, such as their houses, cars and watches. With this they wanted to prevent the items from being sold or lost. The judge did not agree with this decision and gave the brothers their belongings back. It is not known when the judge will make a ruling on the criminal case in Romania. After the request, they will be extradited to the United Kingdom.
