Following Worlds End we officially learned that Andrade El Idolo was no longer in AEW. Many are expecting to see him sign with WWE or Mexico full-time, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Today, Andrade El Idolo took the time to thank AEW on Twitter for his two and a half years with the company:

”I want to thank you for my time in AEW and especially Tony Khan. I also want to say goodbye to all the wrestlers, security people, camera operators, referees and everyone who works in the company and who was a part of my time in AEW. Kenny, Young Bucks, Tazz, Shiavone, Aubrey, Jerry, Hobbs, Hook, Kingston, Ricky, Orange, Thunder, Jack Perry, Austin, Colten, Sonjay and many more. Then, how can we forget all the Mexicans! I enjoyed sharing the ring with STING, PAC, Darby, Garcia, Jay and many others. I would have loved to face MOX, Page, Hobbs, Ricky, Dante, Cage, Dustin. Thank you AEW AND thank you to all the fans for your continued support. As always I wish you the best!!!”

Andrade ended his time with AEW in his loss to Miro at Wolrds End on December 30. He will also have had the chance to participate in the Continental Classic tournament and thus shine before leaving.

Unfortunately for Andrade, he never had the chance to be AEW champion or be involved at the top of the card. A booking problem or availability of Andrade? At the moment no one knows the answer to this question.
