ANDE intensifies work in the metropolitan area

Asuncion, IP.- This weekend, the National Electricity Administration (ANDE) carried out improvement work on the distribution system in Asunción and the metropolitan area, in order to provide greater reliability to the provision of electric power services during this time of high demand.

On Saturday, January 31, technical officials from the Distribution Line Maintenance Department carried out work to adapt low-voltage structures between the streets of Capitán Bado, Humaitá and Julio Correa in the center of the town of Luque.

Likewise, in the Juan de Salazar Colony of the city of Limpio, medium voltage support change works were carried out in the vicinity of Prof. Rita Etelvina Gómez de Aveiro and Juan de Salazar streets.

Activities continued on Sunday, February 1, with general, preventive and corrective maintenance of distribution posts located in the neighborhoods of La Catedral, Rodríguez de Francia, La Encarnación, and in the vicinity of Víctor Haedo Street near Independencia Nacional in the city of Asunción; on the other hand, at the intersections of Tacuary, between Fulgencio R. Moreno and Luis A. de Herrera, medium voltage structures were adapted.

Similarly, in the city of Emboscada on Route No. 3, from the entrance to the city to the detour to Nueva Colombia, the line was extended and medium voltage support was erected.

This Monday, work continued from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the expansion of the medium voltage line, the installation of a new distribution post and D, and the adaptation of the low voltage structure in the Villa Guaraní neighborhood of the Capital.
