… and Gabriel M. gently closed the concerts in Bages

For the last summer concert at Casa Carrère, the heat wave was in parenthesis mode to the delight of the public who came in large numbers to the garden of the house, all dressed in stones. Gabriel M. got the evening off to a gentle start with a poem by Aragon. With his physique and his voice which is reminiscent of Stéphan Eicher. The singer, author, composer and guitarist quickly charmed the female hearts of the audience, but not only.

He continued with titles from his previous album The educated bodies by celebrating friendship, by recounting the pain of breakups and separations, but also by transmitting the happiness of love.

With sparkling eyes, a smile on his lips, Gabriel M. paid tribute to Georges Moustaki by interpreting the metic in Latin version.

Finally, he presented, in preview, several excerpts from his future album, the title of which he unveiled on this occasion. When I’m a singer in a nod to Michel Delpech. The eponymous title and also Like Guy Marchand have had success.

Julien Lebart, pianist of the singer Cali and Gabriel M. for his albums of French songs, delighted the audience with his original, refined and modern playing. The public did not remain passive during this acoustic set and accompanied the singer by clapping their hands to the rhythm of the percussions of François Miniconi, a musician who had already performed in Bages.

Some and some let themselves go dancing under the gazebo in the garden and the mayor Marie Cabrera was not the last to wiggle on The beguine of the suburbs.

Gabriel M. thanked the public for their presence and their support for live performance and by making a hymn to creation.
