I have confidence in them, so I will not influence their decision together,” Ancelotti said in a press conference on the eve of Real Madrid’s match against visiting Real Betis on Sunday evening, regarding who will take the penalty kicks between Vinicius and Mbappe.
He added: “Mbappe and Vinicius understand each other well and will get better with time. Offensively, we will not have a problem. We have never had a problem offensively, and we will not have one this year as we have the best players in the world.”
The veteran Italian coach (65 years old) explained: “Vini and Kylian can change their positions as the game goes on, but at first Vinicius will play on the left.”
He continued: “In my opinion, Kylian is playing very well. He has not scored goals, but he is dangerous. I think there is no problem with his adaptation to the team.”
Regarding his concern about the points gap with Barcelona, Ancelotti said: “We are not happy, but not because of the gap, but because we did not play well. The season is still very long, we will compete until the end, I have no doubt about this.”
