ANBERNIC announces two new portable consoles with Android and Linux

A ANBERNIC launched this Sunday two new portable consoles for its portfolio. These are the models RG ARC-D e RG ARC-Swhich highlights features such as an IPS screen and support for both Android and Linux systems, as well as other details.

ANBERNIC RG ARC-D

To begin with, this is the device that supports the two aforementioned operating systems. Its panel has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, can be operated with touches and inside, the highlight is the adoption of the platform Rockchip RK3566 four-core.

For those who don’t know, the cores of this chip run at a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz. The set of specifications also features 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and internal storage with 32GB of eMMC capacity, in addition to the 16GB memory card equipped to the device.

ANBERNIC RG ARC-S

This model, in turn, comes with some important differences, starting with the screen, which is not touch sensitive. Likewise, the model only supports the Linux system and despite having the same processor, it only comes with 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

In general, the two models were developed to offer a variable range of games, with a diversity of up to 20 different formats. In terms of connectivity, they are equipped with support for Wi-Fi 2.4/5G 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, as well as Bluetooth 4.2.

In terms of design, there are no analogue sticks and it has six action buttons, in addition to the D-Pad. The battery has a capacity of 3,500mAh.

Availability and price

The two devices have been on pre-sale since November 9th and will begin shipping from the 20th of this month. It is worth remembering that the ANBERNIC official website shows prices in reais and delivers to Brazil. Regarding prices:
