In general, this procedure was coordinated by Anatel’s Inspection Superintendence and supported by the Division of Repression of Smuggling and Embezzlement (DIREP) of the Federal Revenue Service. Likewise, representatives of brands such as Apple and JBL were also part of this action.
As for the confiscated items, it is worth mentioning 50 Amazon Echo, 200 cell phones, 2,500 cell phone batteries and 200 TV Box devices. According to Anatel, there was the seizure of hundreds of thousands of accessories, such as Bluetooth headphones, power banks, chargers and more. The combined value of the products should reach R$2 million.
