Jaber’s start was very strong, as she dominated the first set and settled it in 22 minutes, to catch the 17th-ranked French in the world, the first loss of a group in this version, as Jaber forced her opponent to commit direct errors in addition to the power of the transmission.
The Frenchwoman tried to hold on in the second set and improved her level, but without succeeding in breaking Jaber’s serve, who remained ahead, although her opponent succeeded in winning some games, but in the end it was the victory of Jaber, who won the second set 6-3.
With this heroic achievement, Jaber secured the second place in the monthly ranking, which will be released early next week, and confirms once once more that she is the first star of Arab women’s sports.
Jaber acknowledged the importance of the choice she made in the match, as she indicated in a direct conversation that her coach’s instructions helped her a lot to deal with the match and motivated her a lot, and considered that her success is due to her Tunisian team, which supports them and leads to these successes.
