Thursday morning, the Bureau of Parliament, of which the opposition is now a part, looked into various trips. He thus gave his agreement to the participation of two parliamentarians and a civil servant from the registry at the meeting of the ‘Transport and Communications’ commission of the Interregional Parliamentary Council on 23 June in Nancy (France). The participation of five parliamentarians and a registry official in the 69th plenary session of the Interregional Parliamentary Council on 30 June in Mainz (Germany) was also approved.
“We see that certain missions, including those of the interregional parliamentary council, are not affected by the new regulations which require that there be a public debate in committee on their budget before approval. We want any trip financed by the Walloon parliament with public funds be the subject of public discussion, as provided for in the regulations”, underlined the leader of the far left.
