In addition, it highlights that the program was also a meeting place for those who do the same as her and make up this new generation of creators. “They are very strong people in social networks, whom I greatly admire, and being able to talk and have important moments that will mark us. Being able to share with people who do the same as me and that we understand each other was great, ”she added.
Network exposure
One of the factors to consider when creating this type of digital initiative. It is the exposure on networks, especially for those who are minors and are starting in digital content.
Ana Emilia, assures that, Although it is a complicated subject, it is a safe environment if it is done properly. “This topic can be a bit sensitive because many people think that exposing yourself on social networks as a minor can be dangerous. But I want to give the example that it really isn’t.”
And it is that the young he started uploading content to networks when he was barely 9 years old and until now his time in the digital environment has been healthy and safe. In addition, he comments that the participants of the program follow a path similar to his when accompanied by their parents.
“I am 15 years old, I started 6 years ago, but obviously you have to do everything with supervision. My parents have always been in the middle, have always been with me throughout this journey as well as the participants of the program. They are boys and girls that I noticed that their parents really support them in what they do, ”she assured.
To this he added the importance of integrating to the new platforms correctly. “Social networks are not insecure, they really are a very secure source, but it depends on how you handle it,” she clarified.
On the other hand, mentioned that the program was a healthy and pleasant environment, where everyone connected. “Influencer Challenge is a super nice program, because at certain points in the competition some participants are going to have to go home. But I noticed and continue to notice that they became very close friends.
He commented that, despite being children, they were mature enough to function in an environment like that. “Being on social media, having this exposure on such a big show and feeling the pressure of ‘yes, I want to be the next big influencer’ means having incredible maturity and I noticed it every second.”
He also added that there were no effects that might affect mentally or affect the mood of the young people who participated. “I don’t think it affects them, because to this day I notice that it was a program in which we didn’t want enemies, we wanted to give the message that to work in social networks it is very important to create friendsConnection”.
The best of two worlds
Ana Emilia says that for her ‘studies come first’ and that she is grateful to be able to have the best of both worlds. “I’m still a normal girl, I’m still going to school, I’m still going out with my friends and talking regarding what happens at school,” she said.
Besides, emphasizes the importance of studies and points out that from his experience, it is not difficult. “I feel that it is not complicated to balance it and that, in a certain way, it is not necessary to drop out of studies. On the contrary, you have to continue with them because it is the most important thing”.
A relevant factor to be able to do both things, he says, is being able to work for networks from home. “Nowadays you can create content from home, you don’t necessarily have to be on a set for hours and hours. That has given me a lot of creative freedom, to grow, to evolve and to continue going to school.”
Lastly, it ensures that in today’s digital environment it’s not hard for her to be authentic. “I try to be original. It’s very easy to follow trends, but it’s very important to know that you don’t have to let yourself be eaten by the trend, the video really is yours, you have to give it a spin”.
