MIAMI.- Ana Araujo, ex-wife of Pablo Lyle, was approached by the press at the international airport of Mexico City; at that moment she decided to break her silence about the reality of her relationship with the Mexican actor, as well as to put an end to the rumors of a possible infidelity.
In the past, it was revealed that Araujo was in a relationship with the stylist Marco Lavín, but it was unknown if she and Lyle, who was sentenced in 2023 to five years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter of Juan Ricardo Hernández in the United States, were already legally separated.
And it was precisely this detail that the reporters wanted to know.
“Yes, yes. That (about the divorce) is already done. There’s no problem with any of that,” commented the influencer, assuring that the star of Godinez contra Mirreyes and she are no longer married.
The chef confirmed that Lyle is aware of her romance, and that the stylist has been a key figure in her life to address the family crisis.
“Of course, obviously (Pablo knows). He took it super well,” she added. “Marco has been very important to me all this time, honestly.”
She also emphasized that despite the fact that she and Pablo no longer have a romantic relationship, they still maintain an important bond, so their communication is frequent for the well-being of their children.
“We make a very good team, we have always been best friends, so nothing needs to change; the truth is we are doing very well.”
Freedom of Pablo Lyle
Araujo highlighted that the legal process is ongoing, and Pablo’s team hopes that he can be released in December 2026.
“These are our calculations, keeping track of how behavior goes. The little I know is that the least they can do, by law there (in the United States) is 85% of your sentence. So, thinking that due to good behavior, he could be released around those dates, but we do not know for sure.”
However, she stressed that there is nothing concrete and that they are only hoping that Lyle’s good behavior will help reduce his sentence a bit.
“It’s just an estimate we made. It’s something that evolves, and as far as I know, they evaluate you. I tell you I’m speaking from my ignorance.”
