Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, said that she will invite the Board of Directors of Hospital 57357 and members of the Board of Trustees to an urgent meeting, to be held in the first week of the new year, to discuss the hospital’s crises and also develop the necessary solutions and plans.
She added to Masrawy, Saturday: The interest of the citizen will be our priority, then we will consider if there is a dispute between the board of directors and the trustees, to resolve the matter.
The Minister of Solidarity explained: We will meet with both sides in the presence of some jurists, in addition to some officials of the oversight agencies.
And she continued: We sent committees to the hospital to discuss what was being raised regarding negligence in spending, and we followed up on the hospital’s finances and donations, and we did not find anything.
Al-Qabbaj confirmed in her comment to Masrawy: The percentage of children received by the hospital decreased by regarding 800 children per year, and I think that the current campaign is misplaced.
