The price of gold rose today, Thursday, October 27, in the middle of trading, by 61 pounds, and this is its highest record level following the increase of the dollar, following the decisions of the Central Bank of Egypt to raise interest rates to 2%.

Naguib Naguib, Secretary-General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that gold shops set the price of gold today at 1,200 pounds, the price of a 21-carat gram, in an estimate until the picture becomes clear because the price of the dollar is constantly increasing.
