Probably the best-known Czech parish priest, Martina Viktorie Kopecká, is married. In her book Confessions of a Parish Priest, she admitted that the love of her life is Andrea Salome. Information has now come to light that Kopecká and Salome got married.
For the first time, Martina Viktorie Kopecká spoke publicly about her relationship exactly one year ago. It was in the book Confession of the parish priestsubsequently, together with her girlfriend, they began to appear in public. Even then, the most famous Czech parish priest spoke of her partner as an exceptional woman and of a life together until “death do them part”.
And they turned their words into action at the end of 2023, as the ladies secretly got married. They hid the romantic ceremony from the eyes of the media and the public for almost three quarters of a year. Kopecká admitted her marriage in the program Na kafeečko with Miluška Bittnerová. During Advent, they entered into a registered partnership, followed by a church ceremony. “We are on Nicholas Day they registered and we got married a few days later. We had a beautiful ceremony at the Stone Bell House. And there it happened what is important to us – before God. We were blessed by our friends – sister priestess Dr. Vymětalová and brother Vymětal. We enjoyed this a lot,” Kopecká talked to his wife for the website Lifee.cz.
The ceremony was led by the actress Vanda Hybnerová, who is a friend of Andrea. “We filled the whole hall. I wrote our wedding ceremony and it is a very difficult discipline. I think we are their emotions were so excited that we just stood there and it happened‘,” the ladies clarified, adding that he did not overcome a single cry during the ceremony. “I didn’t cry, not even a tear fell. I thought that when Martinka was coming, that it would be something… she was coming, it was wonderful, it was something, but neither of us cried,” they both confided.
