Saudi doctors succeeded In King Salman Medical City in Madinah, a denture was extracted from the middle of the esophagus of a seventy-year-old patient who accidentally swallowed it, by means of an endoscope.
The patient’s children brought their father to the emergency department of the main hospital following he accidentally swallowed his dentures and was suffering from severe chest pain and inability to swallow.
The necessary x-rays and medical examinations showed the presence of the dentures in the middle of the esophagus.
