Al-Marsad newspaper: A video clip documented the defection of an officer in the Iranian Air Force to support the popular protests once morest the regime in Tehran.
During the video, an officer said, I am addressing General Ashtari, the commander of the Iranian police forces, I have a fair suggestion to him, you and all your colleagues on one side, we are in the army with the protesters on the other side.
“You are armed to the teeth and we are determined to rely on our faith, let it be the day of death for me and my colleagues, to appear rudely at your command, and encourage the shedding of innocent blood,” he continued.
