An international economic analyst answers and resolves the controversy Al-Marsad newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The international consultant at the United Nations, Bassem Hashad, explained that the world is going through a global recession crisis more severe than what happened in 2008, adding that the Gulf countries are reassuring.

And he said during his intervention with MBC: “The least affected countries in the Arab region are the Gulf countries, the coming recession, the sharp rise in food prices, the suspension of supply chains and the direct impact on all aspects of life. They are the Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

He pointed out that the Gulf countries were aware of this crisis at an early age, and proactive measures were taken, which enabled them to stand steadfastly and not be affected greatly by what is happening abroad, such as linking the dollar to the currency.

He added that these pre-emptive measures were taken 15 years ago, specifically since 2008, and global conditions may have supported this matter and blessed these proactive steps to see $121, subject to an increase in the price of a barrel of oil, in addition to a linkage process that makes exporting inflation an easy matter for Gulf or oil countries now that they were in the future. to inflation and now they have the ability to be relatively independent that makes them able to export this inflation to others.

And he concluded, the Gulf states are relatively safe from this crisis and are able to overcome it or with minimal losses.
