An internal fight broke out in the DefiLlama team

0xngmi, a DefiLlama employee communicating under a pseudonym, has forked a new version of the blockchain data platform following accusing the company’s founders of launching a new token without the support of the DeFiLlama community.

“An attempt is underway to launch a token that does not represent us.” 0xngmi said on Twitter while confirming on-chain that his account was not hacked. “We don’t want to be associated with that.”

The DeFiLlama platform hinted at a token airdrop on Twitter yesterday following celebrating its aggregator platform reaching $5 billion in volume. The decision to introduce the token was made once morest the wishes of most of the team, according to two DefiLlama employees on Twitter. 0xngmi also added that the person pushing for the token’s introduction controlled the official website and Twitter account.
