The house on the mentioned plot is being renovated. As a result of ongoing repair works, the Construction Inspectorate repeatedly received reports of possible violations, but no construction violations were found during the inspections.
After receiving new reports and evaluating the actions of the builder, additional suspicions arose regarding the legality of the construction work. According to the data of VĮ Registru centras, the building located on the plot of land in Perkūnas aleja is a one-apartment residential house, which is currently owned by 10 natural persons. Point 6 of the Construction Technical Regulation STR “Classification of Buildings” states that residential (single-apartment) buildings are intended for one family.
Based on the number of owners, it can be concluded that the building may not be used according to its intended purpose, that is, as an apartment building and will be used by more than one family. Especially since the premises of the said house are still being sold on real estate sales portals as parts of the house. So it is likely that there may be more owners.
After assessing all the circumstances, VTPSI will not only conduct an inspection in the near future, but will also repeatedly contact the administration of the Kaunas City Municipality regarding the supervision of the use of the building, as well as the decisions made and adopted, the compliance of the use of the building with the requirements of legal acts.
