One year following the law of March 2, 2022, aimed at strengthening the right to abortion, the Government presents the complete overhaul of the public information site ivg.gouv.fr.
On the occasion of the anniversary date of March 2, the Government recalls in a press release the progress of this law: extension of the legal period for abortion from 12 to 14 weeks of pregnancy, opening of medical abortion to teleconsultation, abolition of the minimum legal period of reflection, for minors as for adults, between the information consultation and the psycho-social interview, authorization for midwives to perform instrumental abortions in health establishments, within the defined framework by a forthcoming decree.
Following these new measures, the site ivg.gouv.fr has been completely overhauled in order to highlight these advances in terms of the right to abortion.
