An Indian politician who was declared dead came alive at home

The leader of India’s ruling party BJP in Uttar Pradesh was declared dead by hospital staff, but later revived at home. The doctors had told the family that nothing can be done now, there is no life left in them.

After being declared dead, BJP leader Mahesh Baghel regained consciousness while his family members were preparing for his last rites. The doctors had told the family that nothing can be done now, there is no life left in them.

The brother of the former BJP district president, who was declared dead, said doctors at the local hospital had told the family that nothing more could be done and that it was better to take him home. The family followed the doctors’ instructions and thought that Mahesh Baghel was dead.

The brother said that, ‘Preparations were being made for the last rites when some movements were seen in his body and he was immediately admitted to another hospital where his condition is critical’.

According to media reports, the BJP leader has been diagnosed with a chest infection and is undergoing treatment for the same. After hearing the news of Bagheel getting back to life, many local BJP leaders visited the hospital and expressed their best wishes.

In a similar case, a 50-year-old homeless man regained consciousness in 2015 at a Mumbai hospital before post-mortem.

The man, identified as Prakash, was brought from the hospital by the police and declared dead. The body was sent to the morgue for post-mortem. An employee at the mortuary realized that the man was alive when he noticed some movement. However, he died two days later in the same hospital

It should be noted that there may be a Lazarus effect or “authorization” behind such cases of coming back to life. According to Discover magazine, this is when the patient usually regains blood flow within 10 minutes of CPR, although there are some cases where patients wake up hours later.
