Sunu Sabu, a plus two student, is coming to compete at the state school Kalolsava stage with the success of dancing with an insulin pump attached to her body. The competition is in two categories. Pandalam native Sunu’s dance life has faced many challenges.
Type 1 diabetes is associated with Sunu at the age of six. Backward life is with an insulin pump attached to the stomach. She learned dance, staged and conquers the stage today by fighting diabetes. Coming to the state arts festival with success in Kerala Natan and Kuchipudi at the Revenue District Arts Festival held in Thiruvalla.
Sunu still has various health problems. Amma Anu said that they need a lot of money including medicine every month. Trips to Kalolsavam are on loan. Amma says that no matter how much she suffers, she will not stop Sunu’s dreams, artistic career and treatment. Sunu is a student of Pandalam Thottakonam Higher Secondary School.
