The Blagis HLM tenants in Fontenay-aux-Roses (Ile-de-France) learned this week that the common areas of their building where “supernatural phenomena” occur will be exorcised by an imam and a priest. According the Parisianthe inhabitants sent a letter to the municipality last May to report an abnormal presence, strange noises and even shadows at the said building.
Thus, four months following having warned the town hall that their building was “haunted”, the inhabitants of the HLM des Blagis, who asked for “emergency” relocation, have for the most part still not received an answer. Faced with the disarray of his constituents, Laurent Vastel, the UDI mayor of the town, called on an imam and a priest to perform an exorcism ritual. “These officiants are very busy but we have obtained a favorable response from them, they will come”, confirmed the mayor to Parisian.
Interviewed last May by BFM, a resident of the building had already confided “having called on an imam who had advised him to put salt on the threshold of his door and to find comfort in the Koran”.
