NFL star Stefon Diggs and his Houston Texans will face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. For the receiver it is a reunion with explosives.

In the NFL there will be an explosive clash between Stefon Diggs and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The star receiver welcomes his former team, the Houston Texans. It wasn’t until April that the Bills parted ways with their pass receiver and sent him to Texas.

With his departure, Buffalo’s quarterback Josh Allen lost his most important starting point. Diggs was selected to the Pro Bowl four times in his career and was even the player with the most receiving yards in the league in the 2020 season. However, last season was his weakest for the Bills.

Star receiver wants to “block out the noise”

There were often crises between the receiver and his old employer when the 30-year-old received too few balls from Allen for his understanding. For this reason, his departure from Buffalo didn’t come out of nowhere, even if there was actually no reason for a trade from a sporting perspective.

But Diggs didn’t want to hear about any trouble before the upcoming duel. In a media roundtable, the receiver said he plans to “block out the noise.” He added: “A lot of other people will have an opinion or a lot to say about X, Y, Z and I don’t mind. I’m not angry about it. I’m just trying to win.”

Allen is looking forward to Diggs’ return

The receiver had positive words about his former team: “They have a lot of guys who can fly around on defense. But they are a really good team. So I’m looking forward to it.”

Bills quarterback Allen is also looking forward to the 30-year-old’s return, as he revealed in a media round: “I think something like that happens from time to time and I like him very much. I still do that. The things he did for me in my career and the things he did in a Buffalo Bills jersey will not soon be forgotten, especially by me.”

Bills and Texans lead their division

Both Allen and Diggs started the new round strong. The receiver, who has already contributed 25 receptions and 233 receiving yards this season, sets a clear course of action: “I’m just trying to win.” The Texans are leading the AFC South after four games, and Diggs’ team has achieved three wins , the fourth should now follow against the Bills.

The Bills under coach Sean McDermott also want to continue their strong start to the season. The team from Buffalo also started the season with three wins and one loss and is leading the AFC East.
