An expert recommends giving up sugar for two weeks for these reasons

A Turkish doctor advised to stop eating sugar for two weeks to improve the health of the body.

In an interview with the Turkish newspaper Sözcü, the expert notes that half a banana contains the amount of sugar the body needs in a day. And that increasing this amount is harmful to the body.

The expert advises to abstain from consuming sugar for at least two weeks, in order for a person to feel positive changes in his health condition, according to “Russia Today”.

She confirmed that fatigue increases following eating sugar. Because excessive sugar intake reduces the production of the hormones endorphins and serotonin.

She adds, sugar causes skin aging, dryness and acne. It causes a high level of insulin in men, which leads to a decrease in testosterone production. Excessive sugar consumption also causes plaque buildup on blood vessel walls and joint pain.

“Simple carbs are poison to the brain,” she says. And when he gets used to eating too much sugar, he becomes lazy. Because it uses only one source of energy.”
