Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, commented on the Saudi national team’s victory once morest the Argentine national team, with two goals to one, in the opening of the “Green” campaign in the World Cup finals.
Video clips showed Saudi fans taking pictures with the Emir of Qatar, who said following that: “He came back, not just the first match … they completed it, he returned,” referring to the need for the Saudi team to continue to win during the following matches.
The Emir of Qatar was keen to support Al-Akhdar from the stands of the match stadium in Lusail Stadium, and he raised and wore the flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which sparked an interaction in the media circles.
