An electric Porsche Taycan broke the Guinness World Record for the shortest charge time to traverse the United States, from coast to coast, on less than two and a half hours of charging.

The car, driven by professional driver Wayne Gerdes, traveled some 4,561.68 kilometers, from Los Angeles to New York, spending only 2 hours, 26 minutes and 48 seconds stopped to recharge its battery throughout the six days that it lasted. the trip, which meant dethroning the Kia EV6, whose charging time was 7 hours, 10 minutes and 1 second.
