The Thömus Swissrider Urban attempts to eliminate this shortcoming. Thanks to a featherweight carbon frame, the electric bike weighs only 11.5 kg.

But you also need to be able to have fun on the electric bike away from the asphalt. After all, with the right tires it can also be used as a gravel bike on dirt roads. However, the motorized bicycle not only wants to stand out with its driving pleasure, but also with its elegant look. The manufacturer hides the motor and battery to create a clean overall look. This pleases the eyes of cycling aesthetes.

Tech enthusiasts, on the other hand, will appreciate the e-bike data. The cheapest version comes with a 250 Wh battery. In the high-end version, on the other hand, it offers a remarkable 426 Wh. Generally speaking, the Thömus Swissrider Urban offers various customization options. The saddle, gears, tires, grips and even pedals can be configured here. The motor comes from maxon and is said to offer 30 Nm. In order to be able to view data on battery, speed and others during the ride, the e-bike is equipped with a display integrated into the top tube.
Prices and availability
In the basic version (Swissrider Flat SLX), the Thömus Swissrider Urban has a recommended retail price of 4,910 Swiss francs (approximately 4,902 euros). The cheapest version, however, comes without mudguards or a luggage rack. Even on lighting which you have to do without here. However, you can have these accessories installed at a later date for an additional fee. Alternatively, there are two other configurations in the form of XT and XTR. These are of course also associated with a supplement.
